Use a Root Stimulator

If you're laying turf, use a root stimulator when you first lay it down. This product encourages deep root growth and helps your turf establish itself faster. A healthy root system is essential for a thick, strong lawn that will stay vibrant for years to come.

Mark Your Calendars

Don’t let your lawn go hungry! Mark regular fertilising dates in your calendar so your turf gets the nutrients it needs, when it needs it. A little planning goes a long way in keeping your lawn lush and healthy all year round.

Set Up Automatic Retic

Heading out of town? No worries! Set up an automatic retic system to keep your lawn watered while you’re away. That way, your turf will stay happy and you won’t have to rely on memory (or your neighbours enthusiasm).

Use Sand For Levelling Low Spots

If your soil is uneven, you can use sand to level low spots before installing your turf. It’s a good way to fill in depressions and make the surface as smooth and even as possible for a perfect lawn.

The Cup Method

The Cup Method is a simple way to ensure even watering for your turf. Place several catch cups or small containers, around your lawn, spacing them evenly. Water the turf as usual, then measure the amount of water in each container using a ruler. If some areas receive more or less water, adjust the sprinkler or hose settings for even coverage. This method helps prevent dry spots and ensures consistent hydration for a healthy, thriving lawn.
